Oman, Multi-Adventures tour package

After breakfast, pick up from the hotel and visit of the "Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque" the biggest mosque of the Sultanate and one of the largest mosques in the Middle East & Gulf region.

Then, we will continue to "Wakan», a small mountain Village located at an altitude of 2.000 Meters in the region of "Nakhal». The village is considered as one of the most enchanting places in Oman. The best way to discover this nice place is on foot, starting from the Observatory Platform there are several walking tracks in the village. We will choose the best one. During our walk and along the «falaj»stream, we will cross many beautifully terraced gardens and plantations. The stunning footpath Takes us up to a watchtower, where we will enjoy the panoramic views of the spectacular surrounding mountain ranges and the picturesque sight from above the village. A fascinating natural wonder to fully explore. 

(night 02 in "Wakan" / «Al Alya»).

Our first stop will be in "Wadi Bani Awf», renowned as one of the most fantastic locations in the nearby area surrounding "Wakan".

Once There, we will start an exhilarating trip over the mountains where many old villages are still Retaining their traditional charm.

After that, we will proceed to "Bilad Sayt" village, where we will have another interesting walk. It is one of the most magnificent mountain villages in the Sultanate, "Bilad Sayt" is nestled within the "Hajar Mountains», deep in the Sultanate countryside where Villagers are still Practicing the traditional ways of farming that have helped them to resist for centuries.

Next, we will continue to "Misfat Al Abriyeen" a marvellous old village dominating a very beautiful oasis. Our walk will begin with an impressive panoramic tour above the terraced plantations of date palms till we get down to the bottom of the deep dry wadi. A spectacular sight that contrasts with the old houses simply built with stones & adobe according to the ancient methods and the ruined watchtower perched high on the mountain. A complete charming scene to discover and admire.

Then, to finish the day, we will visit the imposing "Jabal Shams", the «Mountain of the Sun», where we will contemplate an unusual landscape and appreciate the impressive "Grand Canyon", the deepest one of all Oman and one of the wonders of mother nature. Walking around the abrupt hollow, we will be surprised by the infinite beautiful views.

Departure from "Jabal Shams" to visit the historical city of "Bahla", one of the smallest and oldest cities of Oman, which was in the 12th century the capital of the tribes that lived in that region. A panoramic tour of the city with a visit of the very famous and magnificent "Bahla Fortress" , the oldest ever of all Oman with more than 3000 years old.

Then, we will proceed to "Wadi Bani Habib" for a village Trek. This wadi is known as the «Wadi»of walnuts and pomegranates that are still growing there. And more, for its ruined village that lies wrapped around the extremity of the valley. An easy walking path leads us down about 200 Steps to the «Wadi»lowest point. The irrigation channel keeps the orchards fertile. The whole area is very picturesque that amazes every visitor.

Lunch in "Jabal Akhdar". Then, we will continue towards «Birkat al Mooz», an authentic Omani village located at the foot of the mountain and camouflaged within the very tall and green palm groves and rural bananas plantations. A panoramic visit, before returning to the hotel, of the old burg with a walk through the oasis to discover its «Falaj» (a very ancestral irrigation system and network of ancient canalizations that continues to function to this day!).After the visit, we will proceed to "Nizwa" the cultural capital of Oman by excellence.
  

(night 04 in "Nizwa").

Visit, in the morning, of the very spectacular «Sooq of Nizwa" the traditional market, an  authentic lively place of the town where we can discover how locals do their shopping according to auction from live animals to jewels & old daggers till fruits & vegetables .It is also the ideal location to purchase handicrafts and souvenirs. After enjoying the experience.

Our next visit will be "Nizwa Fort», dating from the 17th century, with its massive circular cannon tower, one of the most impressive forts of Oman. Today, this very famous fort is a museum that displays the history of the monument itself and the surrounding area. Walking through the fortress we'll get to see amazing views of the ancient town and the nearby mountains. This magnificent fortress was a base used by the militaries to hold off the hardest attacks and sieges.

Continuation, later, towards ''Wahiba Sands'' desert where the 4WD vehicles will be waiting for us for a special experience in which we live the adventure and raise the adrenaline by crossing the dunes of the Sahara and making bashing up and down through the golden sands until we reach our camp. Check-in, then we'll get a walk until the nearby dunes to enjoy a breath-taking sunset before dinner. Night of serenity and tranquillity in the heart of the Sahara and under a starry sky.

(night 05 in desert camp).

Breakfast and free time to get a walk through the dunes and contemplate the amazing surrounding infinite Sahara (possibility to live, also, the experience of a dromedary ride: an optional activity that can be contracted in situ with our guide). 

Next, we will visit a "Bedouin family" in its tent to witness up close how Bedouins survive in the desert and how they have resisted in those very  hostile and hard natural conditions for centuries. We will discover with them their life conception and their traditional way of living. The generosity and hospitality of this very kind people will even take us to share with them their typical lunch and taste a delicious Omani café before we leave.

After that, we will continue to «Wadi Bani Khalid", one of Oman's most beautiful "wadis" (river/canyon). The "Wadi" has a clear blue water and counts among the few wadis of the Sultanate that holds water all along the year. From the mountain springs, the water is led to the oasis where it sustains the typical date palms. Free time to walk and swim into the fresh and crystalline water of the natural pools.

Then, we will be driven to the coastal city of "Sur" which is one of the oldest cities of Oman that has played a prominent role in building maritime trade across the «Gulf of Oman», «Arabian Sea» and «Indian Ocean», forming business, economic & cultural exchanges between the "Arabian Peninsula" and the rest of the World. A panoramic visit of the city before we stop at the traditional "Dhow" building factory, where they are still using the traditional ways to build those original boats known as the most robust ones in all the gulf region.

(night 06 in "Sur")

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel for a drive along the beautiful Omani coastline.Our first visit will be the famous «Bimmah Sinkhole»an amazing big cavity filled with turquoise water that seems like an extraordinary crater engraved in the limestone.

Then, we'll continue to "Wadi Shab», an eye-catching oasis spot in the middle of the high arid mountains. It is one of the most beautiful «Wadis»(canyons) of the Sultanate. Upon our arrival we will be transferred by a small boat to the other bank of the river, where we begin our walking roundtrip of more than two hours across the charming «Wadi»until we arrive to the heart of the canyon which leads to the Keyhole. Once there, we will be surprised by the fantastic views and fascinated by the natural clear blue water pools that excite every visitor to swim and take a refreshing dip. Picnic lunch then continuation to Muscat.

(night 07 in "Muscat").

After early breakfast in the morning, pick-up from the hotel straight to the "Marina" Where we will take a boat or a small yacht to be transferred to "Dimaniyat Islands".

Once arrived, we will be amazed by the enchanting natural views, the colours of the sea and the virgin white sandy beaches hidden in the small archipelago's coves.

Just there, will begin our snorkelling time in the pristine turquoise water. We will discover an amazing seabed view with a beautiful diversity of fauna and flora. A fantastic experience where we will discover the marine secret jewels of the sultanate before we get a picnic lunch.

Once finished we will return to our hotel. In The late afternoon, pick-up Again from the hotel for a city tour by night of the capital "Muscat". We will visit the picturesque "Muttrah" corniche and the very animated "Sooq" , the market of the old housed under a typical timber roofing where we will stroll through and get the opportunity to see Omani specialties like frankincense, "Khanjars" (Omani Daggers), jewellery, perfumes, incenses ..etc.

Then, a photo stop at the official residence of his Majesty Sultan "Qaboos Bin Said", the "Al Alam Palace", which is flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts Of "Mirani»and «Jalali".Then we will turn back to the hotel.

(night 08 in "Muscat").

After check-out, pick up from the hotel and transfer To «Muscat»Airport for departure.
