Oman,The Land of Wonders tour package

After breakfast, pick-up from the hotel to start the city tour.Visit of the "Sultan Qaboos's" Grand Mosque ,considered as one of the biggest & most beautiful mosques of all the gulf region .Then we will move to the old city of Muscat and catch a glimpse of the old town through the eyes of the bygone locals who left their marks & images, collected and on display at the fine museum "Bait Al Zubair" in the heart of the old quarter. Take a photo stop at the famous Sultan's palace called «Qasr Al Alam» flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts of "Jalali & Mirani".

later, in the afternoon, we will visit the largest indoor shopping market of Oman "Muttrah Souq". Built in traditional style, where you will find exquisite silver jewellery, intricately handmade "Khanjars" (traditonal daggers), fine natural insences and other handicrafts. After a free time in the market, transfer back to the hotel.

(night 02 in "Muscat").

Pick up from the hotel and first stop will be in "Al Hamra" for a panoramic visit of one of the oldest villages in Oman with clay houses dating back up To 400 years.The we'll continue to "Misfat Al Abriyeen", set in a stunning landscape above terraced plantations of date palms where we will have a nice & slow walk between the surrounding heights and gorges.The ancient houses and ruined watchtower perched on the mountain complete perfectly the beautiful scene. After enjoying lunch our experience we'll continues through the untamed and rugged countryside till we proceed to the top of "Jabal Shams", (the mountain of sun), Oman's highest peak At 3009 m. The cool temperatures will surprise us.Once we reach the top we will get a spectacular view of the deep «Grand Canyon».Free time to walk & take pictures of this amazing place before we go to the hotel.

(night 02 in «Misfat Al Abriyeen»).

After breakfast ,descent again from the mountain to visit the historical city of "Bahla", one of the smallest and oldest cities of Oman, which was in the 12th century the capital of the tribes that lived in that region. A panoramic tour of the city with a visit of its very famous and magnificent fortress, the oldest ever of all Oman with more than 3000 years old . "Bahla" is also famous for its traditional hand made pottery production.Possibility of visiting a potter if it is open .After that we will continue to "Jabreen Castle", one of the most beautiful old castle in the whole country.This well preserved castle was designed by the "Imam Bin Seif" the governor of that region himsefl and constructed in the late 17th century located in the suburbs "Bahla" in the "Al Dakhiliyah".

After the visit, we will proceed to "Nizwa" the cultural capital of Oman.

(night 03 in "Nizwa").

After breakfast in the morning ,our first visit will be the spectacular  "Sooq" of "Nizwa" the traditional market ,this lively place  of the town where we can discover how locals do their shopping according to auction from live animals to fruits & vegetables..etc .It is also the ideal location to purchase handicrafts and souvenirs.After enjoying the experience ,our nexte visit will be "Nizwa Fort" With its massive circular cannon tower, one of the most impressive forts of Oman.

Continuation, later, towards  ''Wahiba Sands'' the desert where the 4WD vehicles will be waiting for us for a special experience in which we live the adventure and raise the adrenaline by crossing the dunes of the Sahara and making bashing up and down through the sand until we reach our camp.Check-in,then we'll walk until the nearby dunes to enjoy a spectacular sunset before dinner.Night of serenity and tranquility in the heart of the Sahara and under a starry sky.

(night 04 in desert camp).

After breakfast in the desert camp our first stop will be "Wadi Bani Khalid", one of Oman's most beautiful "wadis" (river/canyon). The "Wadi" has a clear blue water and counts among the few wadis of the Sultanate that holds water all along the year. From the mountain springs, the water is led to the oasis where it sustains the typical date palms.Time to walk and swim into the fresh and crystalline water of the natural pools.

Once finished, we will be driven to the coastal city of "Sur" wich is one of the oldest cities of Oman that has played a prominent role in building maritime trade across the gulf of Oman, Arabian Sea And Indian Ocean, forming business ,economic & cultural exchanges between the "Arabian Peninsula" and the rest of the world. A panoramic visit of the city before we stop at the traditional "Dhow" building factory, where they still using the traditional way to build that original boats known as the most robust one in all the gulf region.

(night 05 in "Sur").

Departure from "Sur" through the «Charquiya» region where we will discover "Wadi Tiwi", a spectacularly deep and narrow gorge carved out of the mountains, running between towering cliffs right down to the sea. Surrounded by lush plantations of dates and bananas,criss-crossed with a network of gurgling "aflaj" (ancient irrigation system). Then we will continue to "Wadi Shab" , an impressive long valley between barren cliffs. Upon arrival to the "Wadi" , we will be Transfered by a small boat to cross the river , where we will begin a fantastic walking tour till we reach the natural pools of the wadi for swimming and refreshing in its cristalline blue water natural pools . After a picnic lunch ,we will take our road towards the dramatic «Bimmah Sinkhole»,this famous & amazing big cavity engraved in the limestone that seems like an extraordinary crater filled with turquoise water. Free time to swim and take Photos.Arrival to the hotel in «Muscat».
