Oman, Desert & Beach (Combined Tour)

After breakfast we start our tour with thevisit of "Bimmah Sinkhole", a spectacular limestone crater with inviting blue-green waterThen we ontinue to "Wadi Shab" to enjoy a walk through the Wadi where we'll see natural pools appearing and tempting us to enjoy a refreshing swim.

Our next stop will be in "Sur", famous for its traditional building "Dhow" yard. After the sightseeing, transfer toour hotel and check-in.

Later in the evening, we will visit the turtle reserve centre in ''Ras Al Hadd'' where we can get the opportinity to observe the turtles by night (depending on season) before we turn back to the hotel..

(night 02 in "Sur").

We will start our trip to the desert. First visit of this day will be "Wadi Bani Khalid", one of the largest and most picturesque Wadis in Oman where water flows all year round.

Nestled deep into the mountains, it is a true oasis. You can cool down in the green pools or walk up the Wadi and see more pools with waterfalls.

Afternoon you will go directly to meet a Bedouin family, their hospitality will seduce you, share coffee and dates with them even some words if you had time during the drive to learn some Arabic words. If you want, you can do some dune bashing which consists in going up and down the dunes like a roller coaster with your 4WD vehicle, for some thrilling fun.

After breakfast, check-out from the camp and first stop in "Ibra" for a closer look at the watchtowers proudly looking over villages from the top of the hills,after that we will  go head towards the old village of ''Imti'' a location surrounded by green oasis where we will explore by foot its beautiful historical quarter called ''Harat al Aïn'' before we continue to  ''birkat al Mouz'' to discover the old irrigation system connected to all the palm grooves of the village .Then we will visit  "Nizwa", which was once, the old capital of Oman for a walk through its traditional craft ''Sooq'' the impressive old market of this wonderful town where you can discover the tipical Omani atmosphere ad by the way buy some souvenirs before visiting the imposing ''Fort of Nizwa'' with its large circular tower and imagine how was life inside the Fort in the 17th Century. The breath-taking view from the tower will show you how big the palm plantation is.

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and we start journey with a visit of "Bahla", a charming little town surrounded by an old 12 km long wall; visit the place where they make pottery and the old Fort of "Bahla", one of the oldest in Oman. It is a UNESCO Heritage site.

Then we will continue to the top of "Jabal Shams", the ''Sun Mountain'' , Oman's highest peak with its 3009 m that dominate the deepest canyons of the country. There we will get a spectacular panoramic view of the "Grand Canyon".A stunning landscape that enchant and dazzle for a long while.After that visit, we'll head down the mountain to return to Muscat.
