Tour plan

  • 01 Day 1: Muscat City Tour

    The city tour begins at 8 am with a visit to the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the only mosque open to non-Muslims and expatriates in Oman and one of the largest mosques in the Middle East. Then we drive to the picturesque Muttrah Corniche and visit Muttrah Souq where you can experience the interest of traditional Arab market housed under modern timber roofing, stroll through the Souq, and buy Omani souvenirs like Frankincense, Omani daggers, beautiful silver handicrafts and scarves. You can also enjoy moments along the corniche admiring the various cruise ships on the water at Mina Al Sultan Qaboos Port. Then we will head to Bait Al Zubair Museum, where you will gain interesting information about the country’s structure, tradition and heritage. At the official residence of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, you can click some spectacular photographs with your family and friends. We then head to the Al Alam Palace, flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts of Mirani and Jalali, and then travel to the majestic view point of Gulf of Oman for a photo session in the Qantab regionbefore heading back to the Hotel.

  • 02 Day 2: Nizwa-Jabrin-Bahla

    You will be picked up from your hotel at 8.30 am to the cultural capital of Oman, Nizwa where we will visit the spectacular Fort with its massive Circular Cannon Tower, one of the most impressive forts in Oman. After spending some quality time we will then visit the Nizwa traditional Souq where you will get to see interesting cattle market, when the locals from the nearby Villages come to sell their donkeys, goats, cattle, sheep and chickens in a circus style open market place. After shopping around in the Souq, we will continue our journey to Jabreen Palace/Castle where you will be able to capture the exotic medieval atmosphere and view the beautiful hand painted ceilings and carved door frames. Then we move to Bahla Fort, one of the four historic fortresses situated at the foot of the Jebel Akhdar highlands in Oman, where you can click some great pictures. Lunch will be served en route.
